Congratulations! You have successfully set up your Homage Ups. Now you can enjoy uninterrupted power for your devices.
Using Your Homage Ups
Your Homage Ups has four modes of operation: normal mode, battery mode, bypass mode, and fault mode. You can check the current mode by looking at the LED indicators on the front panel.
Normal mode: This means that your Homage Ups is working normally and providing stable power to your devices. The green LED will be on and the buzzer will be silent.
Battery mode: This means that your Homage Ups is running on battery power because of a power failure or a low input voltage. The yellow LED will be on and the buzzer will beep every 10 seconds. You should save your work and shut down your devices as soon as possible.
Bypass mode: This means that your Homage Ups is bypassing the battery and providing direct power from the input source to your devices. This happens when the battery is low or faulty, or when the output load is too high. The red LED will be on and the buzzer will beep continuously. You should reduce the load or replace the battery as soon as possible.
Fault mode: This means that your Homage Ups has detected an internal fault or an overload condition. The red LED will flash and the buzzer will beep rapidly. You should turn off your Homage Ups and contact the service center immediately.
You can also use the buttons on the front panel to perform some functions:
Silence button: This allows you to mute the buzzer in battery mode or bypass mode.
Test button: This allows you to test the battery condition and capacity by simulating a power failure.
Off button: This allows you to turn off your Homage Ups manually.
Maintaining Your Homage Ups
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Homage Ups, you need to follow some maintenance tips:
Keep your Homage Ups clean and dust-free. Use a soft cloth to wipe off any dirt or stains. Do not use water or any liquid cleaners.
Check your battery regularly and replace it when it reaches its end of life. The typical battery life is 3-5 years depending on usage and environmental conditions. You can check the battery status using the software or the test button.
Do not overload your Homage Ups or connect incompatible devices. This may cause damage or fire hazards.
Do not open or modify your Homage Ups without authorization. This may void your warranty and expose you to electric shocks.
